Corso has no account, no server of its own and no analytics. The app talks to the addresses you add, to Apple, and to the purchase service named below. This page lists everything it keeps and where.
On your Apple TV
- Your sources: each playlist address, Xtream server, username and password, in the Apple TV’s keychain.
- Your settings and the date your free week started, also in the keychain.
- Your lists: the channels, movies, series and guide loaded from your sources, in a database in the app’s storage, with the logos it has shown cached beside it.
- Your edits: hides, names, order, numbers, favourites and Name Cleanup steps, in that database, with a copy in the keychain so they come back if tvOS clears the app’s storage.
- Recent channels, only if Remember Recent is on in Settings.
- An error log: the last 50 errors the app ran into, with every address, login and email removed before they are written. It stays on the Apple TV; see below for how you can send it to us yourself.
In your iCloud, when Sync with iCloud is on
Sync with iCloud is in Settings → iCloud. It is on unless you turn it off, and does nothing without an iCloud account on the Apple TV. Apple stores this data in your iCloud account; we can’t read it.
- Your setup: each source’s edits and chosen playlists, a few settings (buffer, Reduce Effects, Remember Recent, sort and grouping), and a name for the source only if you gave it one. It never includes a login, a password or an address. A source is matched across your Apple TVs by a one-way fingerprint of its address, not the address itself.
- Your logins, in your iCloud Keychain, so your other Apple TVs can use them.
Removing a source removes its setup from iCloud and its login from iCloud Keychain. Turning Sync with iCloud off removes the logins from iCloud Keychain and stops writing; setups already in iCloud stay there until the source is removed on an Apple TV with sync on.
What leaves your Apple TV
- Requests to your sources: the playlist, guide and logo addresses you add and the streams you play go straight from the Apple TV to those servers. What those servers log is up to whoever runs them.
- iCloud, as above, only with Sync with iCloud on.
- Purchases are made with Apple. To know what you have bought, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase service, which receives your App Store transactions under an anonymous identifier made for this install. It does not receive your name, your email, your sources or what you watch.
What the app does not do
- No analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no advertising identifier.
- No crash reporting service. If one is added, it will receive only errors with addresses and logins removed, and this page will say so before the release that adds it.
- No account with us. We never see your logins, your playlists or what you watch.
The error log
Settings → Developer → Error Log shows the log on screen with a QR code of its text. If you scan it and send it to us, we get what you send and use it only to fix the problem. Nothing is sent otherwise.
Customization codes
A customization code holds your playlists, order, names, groups and settings. It never includes your login or your server’s address. When you scan one, your phone opens corsotv.com/c with the code after the # in the address. Browsers never send that part to a server, so the code stays on your phone: the page reads it there, makes no requests and keeps nothing.
This website
corsotv.com is a static site hosted by Cloudflare. It sets no cookies and runs no analytics or third-party scripts. Cloudflare handles the requests your browser makes, as any host does. If you email us, we keep the message to answer it and to send a TestFlight invite if you asked for one, and nothing else.
Children
Corso is not directed at children and collects nothing from anyone, children included.
Deleting your data
Remove a source in its settings to delete its login, lists and edits from the Apple TV (and from iCloud with sync on). Deleting the app removes the rest of its storage; tvOS may keep keychain items, including the free-week date, across a reinstall. To have an email you sent us deleted, ask at the address below.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date above changes and the release notes say so. Questions: support@corsotv.com.
